Power Yoga

Power yoga is a fast paced form of traditional Ashtanga yoga. It was created in the 1980s by American yoga teachers Beryl Bender Birch and Bryan Kest. During Power yoga, each pose is held for a maximum of 3-5 breaths, as compared to 2-4 minutes for Ashtanga yoga. Comparatively, Power Yoga’s main benefits include enhanced strength and stamina building.
