Tips
You don’t need much gear to get started. Just a training suit that you’ll feel comfortable in, googles and a cap. As you become more adept, you can begin to use swim props, which can help you improve your technique.
Stay hydrated. Just because you’re in the pool doesn’t mean you can’t get dehydrated. Drink plenty of water in the hours leading up to your pool workout, and be sure to have a water container nearby for breaks during your exercise routine.
