Cardio Zone

Cardio exercises are defined as activities that promote high cardiac (heart) rates for a prolonged period in the effort to burn calories. These can range from simple exercises such as brisk walking, jogging, cycling, swimming, a number of sports and more.

Release of ‘happy’ hormones during this workout reduces stress

Reduces DOMS (delayed onset of muscle soreness) and restores oxygen rich blood to muscles


Incorporate sprinting intervals into your cardio routine to burn more calories 

Cardio workouts can be made harder by doing it at an incline

Use your arms – A lot of cardio exercises focus on the legs so swinging your hands while running could simultaneously work them out
